Quarantine information for our Western Australian and Tasmanian customers:
Aussie Mushrooms kits and spawn have been approved to be imported into these states and all orders have our permit attached to them.
TAS customers:
◾ Importers are required to fill out a letter of intent to import, we do this as a free service to our TAS customers.
WA customers:
◾ In the last few years, Western Australia has changed its species lists of what can and cannot be imported into WA – Not all mushroom species we sell can be imported at this time. When they updated their lists, many species were missed off their new system and cannot be ordered until they get it updated. We are working toward amending this to allow all of our species to be sent to your state.
All currently permitted fungi species are listed on: Western Australian Organism List (WAOL)
Permitted fungi species include Oyster Mushrooms, Shiitake, Enoki, Nameko, and Turkey Tail.
We are not currently permitted to send: Ganoderma, Hericiums, or Wood Ear fungus. Stropharia
Please note:
◾ Any items ordered that should not be ordered will incur a fee for refunds. If we miss it and it is stopped and destroyed we cannot refund the spawn cost.
◾ Sometimes WA customs will inspect the packages and charge an inspection fee, unfortunately, this is something we cannot avoid. It doesn’t happen often but please be aware it could happen to your package.
