Pre poured agar plates are for growing your cultures out
MEA is for growing all cultures and testing cultures its a full nutrient medium and grows teh fastest
Green agar is standard agar with an antibacterial agent in it and helps clean up cultures with bacterial problems – it wont stop other fungi out growing your mushroom culture
Water agar is best for cloning wild mushrooms, the mushrooms must grow under its own steam very slowly and then you cut away your clean grown and transfer to MEA agar
all agar work should be done in a still airbox at a minimum
or in front of a flow hood is BEST!
