This oyster mushroom thrives in heat.  Over 19°C it forms numerous clusters of pink fruit bodies with variable measurements (from 7 to 12 cm diam.).

Application: These mushrooms have no particular taste and are grown primarily for their decorative aspect. 

Characteristics: Entire mushroom is pink. The brightness of the hue varies dependant on exposure to light during growth.

Temperature Range: High (18-24°C) fruiting temperature.

Recommended Substrate: Hardwood sawdust, wheat straw

**Note – Does not tolerate low temperatures. At lower temperatures, colour and form deviate. The mother cultures, (mother) spawn and substrate die at temperatures under 10°C.
