Queensland White Oyster – Pleurotus Ostreatus – Spawn

Fast Grower and easy to fruit. Good for novices as it is a tenacious strain, very forgiving.

Application: choice edible, medicinal usage and compounds, research

Characteristics: White coloured fruitbodies, high yielding strain

Temperature Range: They tollerate a wide fruiting temperature range, 16-30°C. When grown under cooler conditions the fruiting bodies can be tan in colour.

Recommended Substrate: straw, hardwood sawdust, corn cobs, paper, leaves or agricultural wastes, cotton wastes, husks and stalks of sunflower, coffee wastes.
