Used on LC jars, you can inject air into the jar before you suck out the LC amd also allows for sterile air exchange while your mycrlium grows

(use syringe without a needle as the needle will break the filter inside)

The filter is for sterile air-exchange or filtering liquid to make it clean

Also allows for sterile air exchange in the jar

Fit with wide larger side facing out

can be autoclaved
